A delegation of Castell d’Or is travelling during this month of February to China and Japan with the objective of strengthening the commercial relationship with the Asiatic market, which represents the 20% of the exports of the wine enterprise.
From the 11th to the 16th February several meetings will be held in Tokyo and Yakohama, where the highlight is the 48th Supermarket Trade Show: a three-days-international fair organized by the biggest supermarket association in Japan. In the last edition of the fair, 2013, nearly 85.000 trade professionals visited it. The Supermarket Trade Show is considered a key step to the access to Japanese distributors who are looking for new worldwide products to introduce into their markets.
Castell d'Or will also be in China, specifically in Shanghai, from the 17th to the 20th February. The delegation will meet different important Chinese importers and will establish contact with the new Plataforma Comercial Catalana in Shanghai, with its own offices in the city and which offers service to all the enterprises wishing to introduce their products to the Chinese market.

Castell d’Or is an enterprise founded with 9 co-operative cellars of Catalonia, which unifies the processes of productions, elaboration and bottling of the wine and cava from different Appellations, all of them under the brand of Castell d’Or. Its target is to produce high quality wines with a good relation between quality and price.
